Labor Omnia Vincit Poem by Ramona Thompson

Labor Omnia Vincit

Labor omnia vincit
Labor conquers everything
If we black and brown men work, work, work together hard enough
While all the lazy white man does is play, play, play
Then surely we can make a plan to come together, the ulimate plan
Entrench ourselves
Bury ourselves deep
Deep into the fabic of America's work ethic
Slowly steal away their jobs
Rob the money out of their greedy pockets and steal the food from their lying fat mouths
That is how we will have our final victory
That is how we will overcome, overcome their cruel ways
They won't even see what's coming
Not until it's too late
Far too late to fight back againest us
They believe us to be nothing but dumb, drunken laborers
So be it
We shall allow that masquerade to continue
For now
For the moment
Until that day comes
Just a few short years away
Not long after our dark agent has taken the highest white office in the land
That my friends and fellow men and women of color is when, when we shall take our places
Our rightful places as the new kings and queens of the good ole U.S. of A.
Oh happy day!
