La Ronde Triste


Si seulement la lune savait que la joie me quitte
Je la regarde la mine défaite, un peu distraite
En rêvant de fortune
Dis-moi pourquoi mon âme est-elle désargentée
Alors que toi, lune d’argent
Tu brilles dans la nuit sombre?

La lune est ronde, la lune est triste
Comme chaque nuit, elle fait sa ronde
La ronde triste des âmes solitaires
Qui chaque nuit sont seules au monde

Si seulement la lune connaissait la douleur qui m’habite
Ma vie me semble si abstraite, si imparfaite
Mais quelle infortune!
Dis-moi pourquoi je ne suis qu’une marionnette
Est-ce toi, lune d’argent
Qui tire les fils de cette manière?

La lune est ronde, la lune est triste
Comme chaque nuit, elle fait sa ronde
La ronde triste des âmes solitaires
Qui chaque nuit sont seules au monde
