“Kyu”

Kyu – Kyu majboor hu mai is akelepan ko,
Kya tha jo nhi kiya, kya tha jo nhi diya,
Fir kyu mujhe mili ye tanhai hai,
Kya maine koi keemat nhi chukayi hai?
Humne sbko bahhen faila apnaya tha,
Jo apnaya vo to gum ka saaya tha,
Kyu apno ko begana kr bethi hu
Kyu tanha is sagar me dubi bethi hu,
Har farz, har karz aj tk nibhaya hai,
Hey ishwar maine ye janam kyu paya hai,
Ye aansu hi lgte ab saathi apne hai,
Baki sab to ab to lgte bas sapne hai,
Sab khoya hai maine dkho kya paya hai,
Mera mukkaddar muje jaane kha le aya hai,
Kab tk ishwar mujhe yu dodaaoge,
Muje apne paas kab tum bulaoge,
Maa, baap ka karz chukana hi jeevan ka saar hai,
Kya apne sapne ka khoon yhi upchaar hai?
Kyu aise jindgi dena chahte ho hey ishwar,
Jha jeena bhi pal pal marna hoga,
Ek karz chukane ki khatir hey ishwar,
Mujhe har pal, har shan til til marna hoga,
Is janam ka annt kro hey ishwar,
Mai fir na aana chahungi,
Is jeevan rupi dhoke ko,
Mai fir na kbhi apnaungi……..

Poem of the Day

poet Pablo Neruda

I want you to know
one thing.

You know how this is:
if I look
at the crystal moon, at the red branch
of the slow autumn at my window,
if I touch
