Knowledge Poem by Micah Munyegera

Knowledge

If all that I know, I knew not.
And all that I knew, I know,
Only then would I truly know that
I knew all there was to know.

In my hunt for what befell my yerster years
I thought how I know better,
In my thirst and hunger for a better today;
In my pursuit for a better morrow
I thought knowledge and I were a time acquaintance.

If all that I know, I knew not
And all that I knew, I Know
Only then would I truly know that
I knew all there was to know.

If only we knew that school offered much
More than ABC and Z,
For in there lay the story of we, I, she and he.

In there lay the story of he;
Orphaned at birth to a world with no glee
All around him seemed to shout and re-echo brutishly,
You belong not here,
You belong not here
YOU BELONG NOT HERE!

If there lay the story of she,
{Legal}
If there lay the story of I,
{arts and culture}

If all that I know, I knew not
And all that I knew, I know
Only then would I truly know that
I knew all there was to know.

Imagine I knew where the famed blackhole led
Where the Bermuda triangle led,
Imagine I knew why humans detaste humans,
Why man kills man.
All SDGs are vital
Imagine doing all of them.
