Know

I know, true
that until I'm through, I will not go
I know, right
that I shall fend off the night one last time before I go
I know, forever
that we have a love that death can't sever, for it will never go
I know, dear
that I've nothing to fear, so fear might as well go
I know the end
Is just the beginning of a start past the end of our shell,
And it was coming so it's just as well
that it happen right now.

Poem of the Day

poet Percy Bysshe Shelley

We are as clouds that veil the midnight moon;
How restlessly they speed, and gleam, and quiver,
Streaking the darkness radiantly!--yet soon
