Knocking down the walls
Breaking through the chains
Dreading all the memories
Remembering the pain
Dwelling on the past
And all the things that I can't change
Happiness, love, and friendship
Normal things that seem so strange
Always watching through the window
Trying so hard to find my way
I will always have to cope with it
Every single night and day
I have no other option
But to play what I've been dealt
I do not know how to react
To the emotions that I've felt
Please don't think I don't care
Im just unwittingly confused
Moving place to place
Being repeatedly abused
No childhood, family, friends or home
People and life can be so cruel
You learn from what you live
Is one of lifes unwritten rules
