Knock Of Life Poem by irenio irenaeus bero

Knock Of Life

For the love that died
Has not yet been brought back to life.
For the love that got lost
Has not yet found its way back.
The weakness that lays undisturbed
In the fortitude of avid passion
Weeps solemn bitterness
For the love it once had.
I have poured many waters
In this rebellious furnace of mine.
I am in debt with the heavens
I am in debt with seas
I am in debt with the rivers.

It sleeps peacefully
Waiting for the knock of a lifetime
