Kissing You Kissing Me Poem by Nicholas Neato

Kissing You Kissing Me

Dreaming up the past
When our ignorance was our bliss
Remembering life back then
I could only starve for your kiss
Waiting for the moment to steal one
Like a thief in the night
Although it was still kind of light

Embraced by your eyes
They begged and they pleaded
So without further question
Without one word to mention
I gave them what the needed

And I never would have thought
That you would take this bet
Though I'm losing, I find us lost
Kissing at sunset
