Kiss On The Forehead Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Kiss On The Forehead

Green valleys exotic as tears
Your fishing boat without you
Now I am a gypsy

Steppingstones and sorrow
The world isn’t the same
I refuse self-pity but I grieve
Love is the only river
I feel everyone’s pain
Some only stay a little while
Some stay for a last kiss

I kissed your forehead goodbye
