Kiss Of Beauty Poem by Wendy Bureau

Kiss Of Beauty

Rating: 3.5

Creature of mythodic design
Serpent body, flourished of sea
She soars 'pon magnificent wing
Farest is she, of myth and beauty

Eyes, yes eyes, of blackest orb
Like jeweled coal of darkest sight
Blink with such a furious grace
With a depth of longest night

Her hair, that of angelic web
Carefully tied in upkept sweep
Bright moon yellow, of Luna's shine
Vision of beauty, thine heart doth weep

Then, yes then she opened mouth
From which love of ear did sing
Her words kissed the silent air
Deaf of sound, profound of ring

Fingerless touch 'pon trembling skin
I stood more naked, than bare
In awe of divine creation
Blind eye'd, lost in lovers stare

Creature of mythodic design
Beautiful, of womanly face
Ne'er not, will another compare
Be that of such beauty and grace
