Kings And Queens Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Kings And Queens

When dreams have a price tag
Arising million Rupee question-
Whereupon, social media affects
Million and million of the people.

Overly extrovert-masters pushing
And love, taking ill-equipped shapes
Losing natural charm, flavour and taste.

I'm writing a simple ode-
To those great ancient lovers
Passed through the vivid love-shades
Of love, laughter and smiles of the time.

Hence, putting no pressure-
On quality or kind of the kids
In fake robs, posing glad and gay
Making way for the kings and queens.
