Kind Words Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Kind Words

Large wings made of new orange glitter
They dance like painted rocket ships
Earth is hard to leave

The Village neon priest
Someone is floating away
Someone has graduated

Her lover thinks she is obese
Self pity lets in seven more
Pills on the table, no note

The dead no longer cry
Say hi to Michael Jackson
Everyone says kind words
