Kill My Faith Poem by Gideon Arthur

Kill My Faith

Shut it down
Let the world smell the ashes
Of a future broken down
The rottenness of a fallen tree
If it bears no fruit let's jubilate in its death

All future ends with death
But there's a future that begins with it
That that calls for nothing
Believes in nothing
And dream of nothing

My faith speaks of a life
That is nothingness
A life of nothingness success
A future that commences with death

Kill my faith, Me, kill my faith
Let doubt full of love
Replace a trust in death
Let foolishness of purpose
Substitute the wisdom of goalless
Kill my faith, give birth to beneficial doubt
