Khushi Ke Naam Ki


ख़ुशी के नाम की कोई शय
मुझे तेरी कसम न मिली
गजल तो झिलमिलाई थी जहन में
पर कलम न मिली

अपनी मंजिल को दूर होता देखकर
मै भी परेशान हुआ
पहुंच पाता अपनी मंजिल पर जिससे
वो डगर न मिली

मेरा दर्द मिटा दे कोई 'मिलाप'
मैंने साईं बारोबार किया
मगर मुझे वो मन्दिर, वो जादू-टोना,
पीरोहरम न मिली

मैंने सोचा शव -ए - गम है
कभी तो ये ख़त्म होगी ही
मै रहा आस में ही मगर
ख़ुशी की कोई सहर न मिली

एक मौका आता है जब सभी को
दुनिया अच्छी लगती है
मुझको आती पसंद जरा सी मगर
वो दहर न मिली
