Kentucky King Poem by Aldo Kraas

Kentucky King

Kentucky king
Lives in a castle
That was built in the middle of a forest
At the end of the forest there is a lake
And in that lake the Kentucky king goes fisshing on the weekends
Kentucky king
Is the ruler of his world
But his world is better than mine
Because it is less violent
Than mine
But my world is very violent
Kentucky king
Makes the laws for everyone here in Kentucky
And he has people that enforce it every single day
But if you break the laws of the Kentucky king
Be prepared to pay the price
