Keep The Gentle Candle Flame Flickering Poem by Morhardt Carmen Mencita Monoi Angel

Keep The Gentle Candle Flame Flickering

Keep the gentle candle flame flickering

Happiness is like a candle flame
It flickers in a draught
And can loose the precious light
A breath of disapproval
Or of harsh blame
Dims this lovely glow
However slight of the
Ever gentle candle flame

Check the words that can
Dissipate the joy
Shield the gentle candle flame
That warms our hands
And lightens our heart
from the passing disturbing breeze
that can destroy precious peace
And love itself might depart

Let the gentle candle flame of happiness
Just be brightness and burning steadily
Let it shine through happening misery
As well as times of storm and stress
Be it undisturbed among adversity
By all means this beautiful glow must go on
Keep the gentle candle flame flickering
