Keep That Ring Poem by Walter C. Edwards

Keep That Ring

Diamonds are not forever,
just like dreams,
the anger inside you,
is it just a scream,
on the wrong tracks,
to nowhere,
as is our path it seems,
when will you wake up,
and look around you,
why do you just stare down,
and make all of our happy times,
just tarnished memories,
oh my dear please, just,
please just, keep that ring.
