Keep Silence Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Keep Silence

Silence has many advantages
If you can restrain and manage
Some words might be spelt under rage
That shall speak of your foolish age

It is an art of keeping control
When you are required to keep cool
Word here and there might invite wrath
From people resulting into death

I witnessed a scene
Where two people were seen
Fighting and abusing
A man was seen consoling

Suddenly one person pulled pistol
He pulled trigger to scare the people
Unfortunately it struck to stranger
Soon he fell on ground and was declared no more

It is wisely said
That, don’t get way laid
River water and ocean should not be judged from calmness
They must be viewed with seriousness
