Keep It Hidden Poem by Joanne Kearsey

Keep It Hidden

Rating: 5.0

Keep your secrets,
Keep you silence,
Keep the words that poison your smile.

Trust is lost,
Silence broken,
And the venom has killed your little black heart.

Keep your lies,
And keep the light,
You have lost the power to control your life.

Still spewing lies,
As the darkness quenches your dwindling light,
And power has returned to the right people.
