Karoke Kiss Poem by Rik Bertrand

Karoke Kiss

I saw you standing on the stage,
Singing you heart out,
Releasing your rage.

Karaoke songs play so sweet,
With you heavenly voice,
My mind drifts, we meet.

I feel the karaoke kiss,
The sweet taste of your lips,
And then the jealous fist.

Dreaming of the stage last night,
Walking in the rain,
Feelings in flight.

Karaoke kiss, feelings so high
Floating in the air,
I have no answers why.

You are dancing on the stage,
I am sitting on the floor,
And then life turns the page…..

And you are no more..
Why for, do I dream?
Why for? No more.

REB (JULY 2012) What the hell is a Karaoke Kiss?
