KARMA

Keep in mind what thoughts and actions we make
Always remember the good Friend of Fate
Remembering all please make no mistake
Many lives pay the price for being Late
Allow our actions from This Fate break

Keeping the soul from the spiritual sky
Always binding us by cause and effect
Recording the Seen in each spirits eye
Measuring all that our move affect
Allowing no mercy after one dies

Keeping bright souls by material bond
Always reminding one the price to pay
Ready to break free from it I am fond
Making things clear then doing what I say
Although I wish I could just wave my wand

Keep in mind that Karma is not a friend
An adversary brought in by one’s Wants
Ready to test your best to see you bend
Moving like a ghost it’s us Karma haunts
Always Karma laughs and looks for the end

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wrote this poem as a reminder to myself that I have to be more careful with my thoughts, words, and actions. Everything tat we do has an impact in our lives and in some way will find us. I have seen it too often in my life that when I do good, most of the time good things happen, when I do not do so good, then the results are less than desirable. Now that I am older I can recognize this rule of Karma on a more subtle level, so my goal is to be more mindful and encourage others to do the same.

Karma is the law of cause and effect - we reap what we sew, and we are all subject to it. An interesting write Darrell. You may like to read mine also entitled Karma.
