Kaleidoscope Poem by Tay Suzzan

Kaleidoscope

Ebony vines surrounded his castle

Charcoal stones embedded strictly

Green glow from his staff bellowed through the halls

Satin robes shivered around his neck

Blue luminescence shone as he broke free

Silver lining met him half way

Crystal clear path his foot did tread upon

Ebony vines of darkness cleared

Kaleidoscope of colours this new world

Fractured the king's eyes when he saw

The colours hidden from him for so long

Turn not from the kaleidoscope
