Juxtaposistion Poem by Lucifera Santez

Juxtaposistion

Rating: 3.5

There is difference
between want and need,
I want you,
but it's him I need.
Love you?
I do,
but maybe I'm not in love,
I don't love him,
but it's his arms I seek,
I'm drunk on this need,
it clouds the wants in my head,
Is it better
to trade one vice for another?
When he is the sun of my world
and you are the blackhole defying gravity? ? ?

'Love you? I do, but maybe I'm not in love' - an honest expression! Loved it. 'Is it better to trade one vice for another? ' - a dilemma! Many might have faced such an acute problem in the journey of love and life, few could express the dilemma so poetically. Well done, Lucifera.
