That you would know
And that you would care
Has carried me through many a storm

Just the thought you are there
Has been enough
Just the thought you’re always my friend
Has meant the world sometime

For always being my friend
I love you for the way
You can be both strong and kind
For the way you laugh and cry
Feeling life…….
From deep down inside

For the way you are sometime distant
But never too far;
For the way you reach out,
And search for, and bring out

For your openness, your honesty
For looking into the furthest corners of my heart
And touching my innermost thought

For your wisdom, your understanding
Your love of simple things
For always being my friend and letting me know it...
