Just The Facts, Allan

My neighbour is a porno star
my butcher sells spoiled meat.
My grandma runs the local bar
and grandpa trims her feet.

But in out church the vicar sits
drinks Bardolino wine
he slowly loses all his wits
and sleeps by half past nine.

Concerning me, I have been kissed
by gracious Mother Muse
reside on the 500 list
and wear proud poet's shoes.

yes they love you in ireland it is said you have a sense of humour, a sense of fun
the irish love that in a poet, i just wish i had your talent i wish i had 1000 poems
