Just Tell Me Poem by Katherine Bryce

Just Tell Me

Rating: 4.3

What if I said,
I know what is true,
the thing hiding,
deep down inside of you?
The secret you never told me,
but I see it in your eyes,
so please don't act,
like it's a huge surprise.
The only thing I don't know,
is when or if you'll tell me,
that's the only lock,
without it's key.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I absolutly hate when I know something, that I might find out about later, because I can't stand waiting to be told. So this poem; 'Just Tell Me' is written about just that, about people withholding things from me, of which I already know, but yet they don't know I know.

Khairul, it's not just that they're making a fool out of them, but also out of me. I mean, because of this silliness, I have to pretend like I don't notice something so obvious. It just irks me when I'm played for a fool.

Thanks for the note. The poem is otherwise comprehensible, but the note adds to the understanding of it. The only thing I don't know, is when or if you'll tell me, that's the only lock, without it's key. People only make a fool of themselves when they withhold something without knowing that it is known to the person they withhold the information from.
