Just Talk Poem by Herbert Nehrlich

Just Talk

I shall be up at dawn
prepared for nought,
relying not on brawn
or what was taught.
However I may stay
without some sleep
and greet the coming day
with words to keep.
A man can walk away
at times he must,
and in the Edes of May
he'll cull his lust.
