put down the bag of cookies.

you never did know any better.

but, then again
that's what i always liked about you.

you have that same look in your eyes.

yes, the same look
i remember so well back when we first met.

please don't do anything differently now,
no, don't go changing on me now.

i'd rather remember you as you are.

stay real for goodness sakes,

now, go ahead,

pick up the bag of cookies and

just say goodbye.
