Just One Song Poem by Lyn Paul

Just One Song

Rating: 5.0

Put some music to my words
Make it a song like you have never heard
A song expressing hope and light
Every moment; Day and night
A voice as strong as Beyonce
The honesty of Pink expressing what she needs to say
We need words that can touch and can cure the evil
They need to love not want to kill
With a beat to make all feet come alive
Wanting to move, needing to jive
We know the rhythym is in us all
From the very moment we learn to crawl
So come on guys lets undo the wrong
Bring us all together with Just One Song

An interesting poem Lyn.As a Rock fan I'd recommend something from the Stones or the Who, but sadly your right this world needs a lift but as ACDC sang: We're on the Highway to Hell!

Oh, I loved this most expressive poem and also your mentioning of my all time favorite, Pink. She says so much in her songs, but this poetic tune is really great and saying so very much... and music is said to calm the beast, so it must hold the magical touch....or so we all hope.... Great poem, Lyn! ! !
