Just Close Your Eyes Poem by Sam Weaver

Just Close Your Eyes

Rating: 5.0

I feel myself going
My life's almost through
Tell me my son
What must I do
Mother you're at the time
When temporal flesh dies
But you have Jesus
So just close your eyes
You're about to escape
Out of the storm
Of this cursed earthly life
Away from all harm
Just close your eyes
You're part of the bride
Jesus is waiting for
On the other side

I thought this poem was very good. And I also found it to be comforting and truthful. If a believer in God has served him faithfuly than all there is to do at the end of ones earthly life is to close ones eyes and go to be with God.
