Just Because Poem by Paula Robinson

Just Because

Rating: 5.0

Children ask so many questions
Sometimes we struggle to find
Proper answers in able to
Satisfy their mind

“What is that? ” and “Why does it? ”
“How can that be true? ”
“When exactly will tomorrow come? ”
“Can I be like you? ”

I thought back to my childhood days
When questions I had asked
Were resolved quickly by my parents
It was easy in the past

So I took a leaf out of their book
The answer I well knew
When asked “Why do you love us”
I replied – “Just because I do! ”

Loved this poem, a friend's young boy always said 'Why? ', after many 'Why's' I said, ' because I say so, Sam'. OK he said, and that was that... All the Best, colin
