Just Another Friday Night Poem by Rhonda Moody

Just Another Friday Night

Rating: 4.0

Just another Friday night
riding around with her friends
hearing her favorite songs
and drinking a little beer

Trying to find their way around town
going to a place they had never been
the streets seemed so dark and lonely
the ride it seemed so fast

You left behind your family
we never got to say goodbye
time wont heal our broken hearts
no matter how much more we cry

Time goes on so slow
from Heaven you can see how much we miss you so
We love you dearly Cassie
and this will always show

Just keep looking down on us
and this you will always know
we will never stop loving you
and we will never let you go

It was just another Friday night
riding around with her friends
hearing their favorite songs
and drinking a little beer

I am sure that when she left that night
she was sure she would be back
instead the car she was riding in
found upside down in a ditch on a dark road

This is where her life would end
all to soon before it really began
at 16 years old just having some fun
But this Friday night was her last one.

Rest In Peace
Precious Cassie

It is so sad for the ones left behind. cassie will be free and she had served her time here. We all have a time span to learn what we need to learn. The younger we arae when we go, the less we had to learn. Sometimes we are here to help someone else and once they are better then we leave. Cassie must have been very special. A nice poem from your heart. *hug*
