Just A Stranger Poem by Katlego Rasegwete

Just A Stranger

You just a stranger
But you make me smile way I never smiled in my life
You just a stranger
But you have your way to dry away all my anger
Sweeter than anyone could ever do it
You just a stranger
You take me places I dream of whenever I hear your voice
Nor hold your hand

You just a stranger,
Leaked into my life unexpectedly
Became a map to my happiness

One question I keep baking in my mind
"Where were you all along? "

You leave me weak and helpless, mesmerized with your perfume of your presence
During your absence

You a stranger to my eyes
But you everything to my heart

How could a stranger like you?
Master my engines needs better than mechanics I grew up with
How could a stranger like you?
Easily completes the equations which took better scientist's lifetime to get it right
How could a stranger like you?
Easily vamoose away all my bruises/wounds and negative thoughts of never falling in love
Even company that manufactured me couldn't be able to repair me

Just to think of you
I see butterflies
Just to write your name or utter it
Wonderland opens doors for me
Just to hear your name
My heart dance the dance of joy, face gets painted with smiles of joy

Like a cemetery yard doesn't decrease in size only increases
So as words I can use to describe you
But you are still a stranger to me
Remarkable stranger
Very strange stranger
