Just A Bird Poem by Michael Marc

Just A Bird

Over the sky flies a bird.
Singing through the sky as it laughs
When Watching over the countries acts.
It watches over the people
That follow a pleasant dream,
One which they cannot simply achieve.

They try, and try again to achieve
Something only a fool can dream.
We understand that there are people
In this cruel world whose acts
Are always unseen; and as the bird
Flies away, it shakes its head and laughs.

Ha Ha Ha! The devil laughs
As it profits from their dreams.
To think that all they achieve
Will be unnoticed. 'Am I the only one who acts
Reasonable? ' Goes through my head as birds
Peck at seeds in the park, for they are like people

Tweeting around while passing people
On a busy road. They day-dream
about being one of those - birds
On television; hoping to achieve
Their dreams - she falls and laughs
As if she were going to be in one of the acts

Of the apostles. One who only acts
Great; will never achieve
Greatness. We live in a world with great people
Who have created happiness through laughs.
It's complicated - stressful. I just wish I was a bird.
No worries, responsibilities and stress. But hey! I can dream.

I know a dreams just a dream.
Becoming a bird of peace - I simply cannot achieve.
I have the freedom to dream, but my acts
Will do no good, and my laughs
Will make others mad. I live to see that people
Are strange. That's why I want to be a bird.

Just a bird, that laughs
At my silly acts, that can achieve
More than a dream, and stand out from people.
