Jury Duty Poem by Harold R Hunt Sr

Jury Duty

I get a letter in the mail the other day.
It said I had to appear for jury duty.
I was scared that I didn't know what to do.
I called the court house to see if I could get a leave.
But, they told me to appear tomorrow at 4.
I go to court all shaking and scared.
They called my name and I said.
Which case is it.
Then I laugh because I'm the
Defendant!
