Jungle Supremacy Poem by Ngwa Louis

Jungle Supremacy

Rating: 4.0

How much longer will it linger?
The predators proffered ploy
Feasible our plans seem no longer
His being deft we fall prey

No! though from a bloodline of champions,
Equal we be before the creator
Armed to the teeth, delve without compunction
Till we tousle the factoid

Bound they relish in fascism
Suppressed under economic delude
We being pliable under sarcasm
We need be placid

Hoping to rise from the lobotomy
The demagogue replaces in pleurisy
Untutored he keeps bickering
But the cat in conation becomes the lion

Ploddingly declines jungle supremacy
As might falls for wit, truth and speed
The predators' delusion reattributed
Soon, deluge change for all
