June Sunrise (Variation On Sara Teasdale's Poem 'February Twilight') Poem by Ilania Cyaalá

June Sunrise (Variation On Sara Teasdale's Poem 'February Twilight')

I sat beside a hill
Glistening with emerald dew,
A single star was twinkling
In the misty sunrise blue.

There wasn’t any creature
That saw what I did see –
I sat and watched the star at dawn -
And she was watching me.
