Some celebrate the birth of a baby
Others blow candles when age reach 40
The rich say ‘Wow' when he gets bigger money
Rubber tappers are happy if the day is sunny
The standard set for jubilation is different
Inventors are happy, when the idea is brilliant
A mother screams with joy having a healthy infant
Economists is praised for being budget stringent
People show triumph in many ways
To staff, employer gives them salary raise
To students, teachers shower them with praise
Most rejoice for short while few celebrate for days
While we jubilate and be merry
Don't forget the folks who are unlucky
They may be recovering from a tragedy
Or from epidemic that have wiped the family
The world is full of controversy
One part is jubilant another in misery
Lucky ones, express your happiness softly
Those who suffer, may not feel too badly
To folks who are suffering in pain
Feeling helplessness, you must refrain
God-willing, the end will reign
You will get back to the fast lane
