Joy And Misery Poem by Unintelligible Susurration

Joy And Misery

The time will come;
Misery will not be needed

It was so last season
Just a fad -
Like the rest, I suppose

Misery never liked any company
Forced it was down its throat
Now joy is tolerated
To an extent where it is appreciated

'Come back! '
Misery will only beg

Only Joy makes Misery complete
Without happiness there is no misery
In this cheerful world

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is a poem about joy and misery, who are said to be two people.
Misery is saying that even though it doesn't like company, it can't live without joy. In order for there to be misery there also has to be joy. Joy turns to misery and vice versa...
