Joy Poem by Rosemarie Casaula

Joy

Ah but how my heart does vibrate now
Like a bell struck with a golden hammer
Its tone emitting from around it now
As ripples round a stone when thrown into a sea
Reaching with its resounding song all parts of me
Euphoric now and filled with joy for all tomorrows
To live them each and every new dawn with glee
This core of mine does ring, its golden timbre sings from within
For happiness is what it feels, it's then the golden hammer strikes
Oh to have it always so -for it's joy and gladness my heart most likes
