oh! today would be different
i'm going to witness baptism
not from my church i'm praying
another sect but pray to same
i'm expecting dousing water
long ritual; comforting prayer

maybe symbolic nakedness
to creature almighty then
resurrections from ungodly sins
wash away with squirt of holiness
i'm guessing but enthusiastic
to whatever it leads to; i'm in


(my friend would be baptise
today and his wife...i'm ecstatic)
