(journey Inwards Collection) .... Oasis Poem by Janice Windle

(journey Inwards Collection) .... Oasis

Rating: 5.0

It was a time to pause
at the oasis, beside the mirrored sea,
to open my mind's gateways,
to be held dreaming in the hand of what has been,
suspend belief in what may come to be,
lose hopes that fasten fetters on what is,
and, fully in the present, to reflect.

nice I like to go on a long country walk and then rest in a pub, with a drink and food, to enjoy something, often you must starve yourself of it, and replenish, at the oasis.

A mature write, this one. We all need time to gather our thoughts. Love, Fran xxx
