Josh Poem by Jackie Johnson

Josh

He was a part of our family for seventeen years
Had the most beautiful face, framed by black fluffy ears.
When he looked at you with those deep brown eyes
He could send your spirit soaring, high into the skies.
He went everywhere we went, even slept in our bed,
What a peaceful, warm feeling when he snuggled up close to your head.
We called him our baby, he gave us so much love, so much joy
Our dog, man's best friend, he was a very good boy.
He was loved, he was spoiled, we tried to give him the best
I know there's a DOGGIE heaven, where he's peacefully at rest.
