Josephine Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Josephine

Come and stay with my servant girls and,
Let your sweet love crown us all day long;
For you are the pleasant woman to my heart.
Come and hold my sword and my bow and,
Let me defend you with my love;
For i am the pride of Africa on the rainbow towers!
Josephine, you are like the seed of the Medes;
And i am intoxicated with your sweet love.
