John Doe Poem by Jennifer Sollmann

John Doe

I couldn’t even see, blinded by your beauty
Imagining you by my side, my mind is afflicted with you
Who are you?
A faceless being- shining with beauty
I’m drawn to you in my dreams
Come to me please
I know we’re meant to be, I love you
Though I do not know you
John doe, today in my dreams
You fell off the cliff and I chased you
And now you’re gone, why didn’t I die
Oh john, I love you so
It’s a shame I never met you dear
Oh well, maybe next year?
John doe, I’ll be looking for you
On that precipice over the ocean
Smile for me darling
I’ll meet you there.
