John Called Him Lamb (Pantoun) Poem by Linda Fleming

John Called Him Lamb (Pantoun)

We were dead in trespasses and sin.
life was full of sorrow and shame.
Hate feeling heavy and grim.
playing Satan's foolish game.

Our Lord is the Great, 'I AM'.
In Him Life begins again.
John the Baptist called Him Lamb.
Life changed when I asked Him in.

Writing to bring glory to His name
Finding forgiveness deep within.
No longer playing Satan's game.
I'll never be the same again.

Finding forgiveness deep within.
hate feeling heavy and grim.
I'll never be the same again.
We were dead in trespasses and sin.

An interesting write; we lose when 'playing Satan's foolish game'; nicely done. Maybe you would enjoy my poem called 'Nakedness of Life'. -Joe
