Jobs And Their Parties

Not so long—but long enough—
before scarcity will compel change,
climate change has gone and done it,
and oil and coal
are fighting with discounts
to sell as much of themselves as they can
before bans
take their inevitable toll.

Fighting with discounts too,
are jobs and their fans.
They're discounting the filth of pollution
to last as long as they can
before filth
faces radical climate change bans.

Commendable penning, and a spot-on assessment poetically delivered, indeed ~FjR~
