Jesus Of The Cross Poem by Njongo Cokotho

Jesus Of The Cross

Jesus of the cross
The man who dropped all my Charges,
The man who wiped out the handwriting of commandment that was against me,
This was contrary to me,
He has taken it out of the way,
Having nailed it to the cross.

The man, I am talking about is Jesus of the cross,
He who disarmed principalities and powers which was against me,
He made a public spectacle of them,
Triumphing over them in the cross

I am talking about the man, who has the keys of death,
He made death not to have power over me,
He made hell not to prevail against me,
He made sin not to have dominion over me

I praise This Jesus of the cross,
He who took away my sins and my shame,
He who made me His child,
I praise this man of the Cross. Amen.
