Isn’t it amazing that a crime committed back in 1974,
In 2009 can get you locked up behind prison doors,
There is an exact science, which is known as DNA,
This can set the innocent free & put the guilty away.

Occurring more & more the news is filled with examples,
From something minor like just a single follicle sample,
Now, countless numbers of the innocent are being set free,
As Deoxyribo Nucleic Acid has turned defeat into victory.

I can see the difference between a blue jay and a pigeon,
Where you are worshiping denotes what kind of religion,
The color of your skin is a usually good sign of your race,
How we feel, is posted by the smile or frown on our face.

There are scientific methods used to determine whose DNA,
On the surface eyes and ears can tell by what we do and say,
Everyday our attitudes show out in life through work or play,
Do you freely give what you don’t need or make others pay?

We know some things are inherent like the breast cancer gene,
But it’s a choice for your attitude to be selfish, nasty and mean,
And no matter how many billions of dollars any man is worth,
A woman and only a woman will ever be able to give birth.

Many are the evil ones, who thought they were just way too bad,
Simply untouchable until evidence was presented in the crime lab,
I knew a perfect set of identical twins that were easy to tell apart,
One was cool easy going while the other had malice in their heart.

Many times only DNA can separate innocence from guilt,
When it does the difference is as clear as wool from silk,
So, when the final blood or saliva analysis does come out,
Exactly who did on did not do it well, there is no doubt.

The unique thing about this DNA is that we have a choice,
You can choose to be related to Satan or in Christ to rejoice,
The main reason many pick evil? Gratification's now. Today!
Instead of waiting on oven baked they want the microwave.

Understand that this is a process, meaning it takes a while,
Joseph who saved Israel waited 13 years in tribulation exile,
Oh yeah, Jesus by far had the greatest ever gospel ministry,
And the Begotten One didn’t start preaching till He was 30.

Because the promises are later, not sooner don’t walk away,
