Jessica Christ Poem by Ramona Thompson

Jessica Christ

Maybe you've heard of me
Maybe you have't
Either way please allow me to interdrouce/reindrouce myself
I'm the secret handed down through over 2000 years
The girl child grown to womanhood
Long ago hidden away
Till the time arrived for mankind's final judgement day

If you don't got a clue by now as to who I am
Let me make it just a bit more cyrstal clear
My name is Jessica, Jessica Christ
Mother, Mary and father, God
Twin sister to yours truely, J.C. himself
I'm the back-up
Our holy father's fail safe just in case the son for some reason could not
Carry out all of his holy duties

And so here I am
In the flesh, blood and bone
To steer all you wicked, wicked ones
Back where you belong
Part of the divine's most holy flock
Proud to serve and deliver
Your very best I must restore if there is to be any kind of hope
Any kind of hope left for mankind

Ready, willing and able
All I ask is that you try and believe
Believe in me
Not a crank or a kook
On a stack of my daddy's very own good books I swear
I am indeed the real deal
Jessica Lennox Christ, your most holy savior for hire tonight
